  • MCINTOSH MC8207 – 7 channel Power Amplifier

    MC8207 is a 7 channel amplifier designed to power the finest home theater systems. Seven channels may be used in larger rooms or five channels for the theater plus two stereo channels for powering a set of speakers in another area of the home. Immensely powerful, the high current MC8207 delivers 200 watts per channel into either 4 or 8 ohm speaker types using the McIntosh Dynamic Power Manager®. You will always have all the power you need when using MC8207.

  • MC1.25KW – 1 channel Solid State Amplifier

    The MC1.25KW Quad Balanced Power Amplifier is our newest and one of our most advanced amplifiers. Redesigned from top to bottom, it replaces the venerable MC1.2KW as our most powerful single chassis monoblock amplifier.   • MC611 – 1 channel Solid State Amplifier

    The monoblock MC611 Quad Balanced Power Amplifier produces 600 Watts of power – enough to satisfy nearly any loudspeaker. A pair of MC611s can easily drive an impressive home stereo system, or add more of them to power a home theater. Thanks to our unique output Autoformer™ technology, your speakers will receive the full 600 Watts regardless if they have 2, 4 or 8 Ohm impedance, allowing you the ability to use the MC611 to its full potential.

    The MC611 has received numerous updates and improvements compared to our previous 600 Watt monoblock model. Chief among them is that filter capacity has been doubled which has resulted in a dramatic 55% increase in dynamic headroom from 1.8dB to 2.8dB. This twofold increase in filter capacity also helps improve the performance of low end bass frequencies.

  • MC301 – 1 channel Solid State Amplifier

    The McIntosh MC301 monoblock amplifier delivers 300 watts of power into a single channel at 2, 4 or 8 ohms.   • MC152 – 2 channel Solid State Amplifier

    The McIntosh MC152 stereo amplifier delivers 150 Watts of power into two channels at 2, 4 or 8 Ohms. Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are included for connecting your preamplifier. Our smallest current model solid state stereo amplifier in terms of power output, the MC152 is perfect for modest sized systems where higher power output levels are not needed or in home theaters to power surround channels.

    Featuring a space saving design with a slim 6” tall chassis, it can fit where larger models can’t. While it may be physically smaller than our other amplifiers, it’s still full of all the technology McIntosh is known for and will perform to the same high standards as any of our amps. The McIntosh output Autoformer™ ensures every speaker receives full power regardless of its impedance while our unique Power Guard® circuitry prevents clipping that could damage your speakers. Our speaker binding posts provide a secure connection to your speaker cables.

  • MC205 – 5 channel Solid State Amplifier

    The MC205 delivers all the explosive dynamics that high-performance home theater systems require by delivering 200 Watts of power to each of the 5 individual channels commonly used in many home theaters. Our exclusive Dynamic Power Manager® (DPM) technology enables it to deliver full power into 4 and 8 Ohm speakers – making the MC205 a perfect choice for a wide variety of home theater speakers. It can also be used as a two zone amplifier with three channels operating one zone and the remaining two channels assigned to a second zone.

    The MC205 does not require cooling fans so even the most subtle soundtracks are not masked by fan noise. It features many notable technologies found in our other amplifiers, including Power Guard® which prevents over-driving of the amplifier and harsh sounding clipping that could damage your speakers. Sentry Monitor™ is a fuse-less short-circuit protection circuit that disengages the output stage before current exceeds safe operating levels and resets automatically when operating conditions return to normal. Inputs for balanced and unbalanced cables are available to provide flexibility in connecting the MC205 to your system or home theater processor. A bank of three blue watt meters provides instant recognition of power output of the front channels (the meters may be switched off if they conflict with the television or movie screen).

  • MC207 – 7 channel Solid State Amplifier

    Similar to the MC205, the MC207 7-channel home theater amplifier produces an amazing movie experience in your home by delivering 200 Watts of power to each speaker channel found in 7.1 home theater systems. It can also be used in 5.1 home theaters with the remaining 2 channels used to power a second zone in stereo. Our exclusive Dynamic Power Manager® (DPM) technology enables the MC207 to deliver its full power into both 4 and 8 Ohm speakers – making it compatible with a wide variety of home theater speakers.

    As with the MC205, the MC207 does not need cooling fans so there is no fan noise to interfere with your movie’s soundtrack. It features Power Guard® to prevent potential speaker damage caused by clipping and over-driving of the amplifier. Short-circuit protection is provided by our Sentry Monitor™ technology that disengages the output stage before current exceeds safe operating levels and then resets automatically when operating conditions return to normal. To connect the MC207 to your home theater processor, inputs for both balanced and unbalanced cables are included. Three blue watt meters provide an instant measurement of power output of the front three channels (the meters may be switched off if they conflict with the television or movie screen).

  • MC8207 – 7 channel Solid State Amplifier

    At 200 Watts per channel, the 7-channel MC8207 home theater amplifier is perfectly capable of powering all the speakers in a 7.1 channel home theater to McIntosh’s legendary standards. It features LED power output indicators instead of our traditional blue meters. These indicators will display the amplifier’s power output just as the blue meters do but in a more understated way – making the MC8207 a perfect choice for darkened home theaters where the screen is the focal point. In addition to 7.1 theater systems, it can also be used in 5.1 home theaters with 2 channels used to power a second zone in stereo mode.

    The McIntosh exclusive Dynamic Power Manager® (DPM) technology enables the MC8207 to deliver its full power into both 4 and 8 Ohm speakers, meaning it’s compatible with a wide variety of home theater speakers – unlike many other high current amplifiers. Just like our other home theater amplifiers, the MC8207 does not need cooling fans, eliminating fan noise that can interfere with the delicate nuances of a movie’s soundtrack. Power Guard® will prevent potential speaker damage caused by clipping and over-driving of the amplifier.
