  • McIntosh MHA50 – Portable Decoding Amplifier

Nearly everyone walks around with most if not all of their music library in their pocket or bag where it’s readily accessible via a pair of headphones. While convenient, it likely doesn’t sound as good as it could. The handheld MHA50 Portable Decoding Amplifier can make your music sound its best – and likely better than you’ve ever heard it before – through your headphones.

The MHA50 includes wired inputs for Apple® iOS and Android OTG1 devices plus Mac® and Windows® computers.2 It can also wirelessly connect to these devices via Bluetooth® 4.1 with aptX™ technology that ensures you receive the highest possible sound quality from your Bluetooth source device. Featuring a high-performance 32-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC), it decodes music files from almost any digital source and outputs audio that is superior to what your device alone can produce. It supports 32-bit/192kHz hi-res audio, DSD64, DSD128, DXD352.8, DXD384 files and asynchronous USB audio. Its generous 3,000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge when connected to a source device via Bluetooth; playback can last even longer when using the wired connections.

  • McIntosh RS100 – Wireless Loudspeaker System

The RS100 wireless speaker allows you to easily add streaming music capabilities to any room you want. It features DTS Play-Fi® technology that gives the freedom and flexibility to wirelessly play the music on your mobile devices over your existing Wi-Fi network. Simply connect the RS100 to your Wi-Fi network, install the Play-Fi Apple or Android mobile app or Windows desktop app and then you’re ready to stream your music. The RS100 is a great first piece to introduce yourself to McIntosh’s legendary sound quality and performance standards (standards not found in any other Play-Fi device except our MB50 Streaming Audio Player).

A single RS100 is all that is needed to start building your wireless speaker system; more can be added over time to expand your system. Up to 16 speakers can be connected to a single Wi-Fi network – enough for stereo playback in 8 separate rooms. With the Play-Fi app installed on all your devices, each device can stream different music to each room, giving all family members or guests control over what they want to hear in their room. Besides accessing your personal music library, the apps have built-in support for many leading online streaming services1 including Amazon Prime Music, Deezer, KKBox, Pandora®, Qobuz, QQMusic, Rhapsody®, SiriusXM®, Songza, Spotify® and TIDAL (list subject to change), letting you enjoy all your streaming music on your RS100.

  • McIntosh MPC1500 – Power Controller

Today’s AC power is littered with byproduct from the operation of millions of personal computers, satellite set-top boxes and myriad other noise inducing devices. The new MPC1500 Power Controller provides total isolation, low noise, and maximum power transfer to enable the best performance possible from your McIntosh components. The MPC1500 features a large torroidal transformer that has been specially wound to act as a low pass filter to remove unwanted harmonic noise on the incoming AC line, while a quick-acting surge suppression circuit features a clamping voltage onset of about 2V above peak nominal voltage for the best possible product protection.

  • McIntosh Clock

The McIntosh MCLK12 mantle clock is a celebration of time while being a tribute to classic McIntosh design. Constructed with the signature McIntosh blue watt meters, the MCLK12 demonstrates the same easy to read visual interface. Blue meter lighting may be switched on or off from the front panel, or by other McIntosh components, depending on the viewing conditions. Faceplate is the same width as other McIntosh equipment, allowing for rack placement; also wall or shelf mountable.

The left meter measures hours while the right measures minutes. The hour and minute hands cover a twelve and sixty minute arc respectively on the MCLK12 along with Power Output Meters on compatible McIntosh power amplifiers. Both hands ‘fly-back’ in a retrograde fashion when they reach the end of their scale. The MCLK12 is the ultimate fun way to monitor the passing of time. Battery backup keeps time during power outages.

Unmistakably McIntosh. Let everyone who looks at your McIntosh home audio system know where it came from and how it was built with the LB100 Light Box. It proudly displays the “Handcrafted In The USA Since 1949” statement as a badge of honor.

About the same size as one of our CD players, it will easily fit into any standard audio/video rack, on a piece of furniture or stacked with other McIntosh gear for easy placement. On the front panel, both the McIntosh logo and handcrafted statement are illuminated by direct LED backlighting for a distinct and awe inspiring appearance.

On the back is a Power Control input and output so you can have the LB100 seamlessly turn on with all your other McIntosh components such as an amplifier, preamplifier or variety of other products. If Power Control is not utilized, then a back panel switch turns it on and off.

The LB100 features the timeless McIntosh aesthetic of an illuminated black glass front panel and aluminum end caps.
